Privacy Policy
This policy explains what LIENZ collects, why it is used, where it is stored, who can receive it, and how deletion works. LIENZ is an adults-only, consent-based social matching service.
Face Data and Liveness Verification
Face data and liveness: the live selfie video and face-movement results that you actively submit are used only to verify that one real person is present for membership safety review. LIENZ does not create or keep a face-recognition template, does not sell or share face data with third parties, and stores the private review media in access-controlled server storage. It is deleted after the review outcome retention period (30 days), unless a documented legal or safety hold applies. You can request account deletion in the app's Privacy and account data screen; primary data is then deleted under the stated deletion schedule.
Face checks are processed for safety review only. Face landmarks, face counts and movement results are not used for advertising, ranking, member search, or automated identity matching. Review media is private and is not shown to other members. Our storage provider acts only as a processor under access controls; LIENZ does not disclose face data to advertisers, analytics providers, or social matching partners.
Other Data, Storage and Sharing
LIENZ stores account, profile, safety, activity and encrypted chat data only as needed to provide the service, protect members, and meet legal obligations. Private media is stored in access-controlled server storage. We do not put message content, face data, photos, credentials or direct identifiers in analytics or push notifications. Data is not sold.
Retention and Deletion
You can permanently request account deletion in Profile > Settings > Privacy and account data > Delete account. After server confirmation, the account is disabled and you are signed out. Primary account data is deleted within 30 days; encrypted backups rotate and are deleted within 90 days, subject to documented legal or safety holds. Face/liveness review media follows the 30-day outcome retention period above.
